What is the difference between a value fund and a focussed fund?

I have two questions. One is that I want to know the difference between a value fund and a focussed fund. And the other is that I want to know whether we get interest in a savings bank account on a monthly or quarterly basis?

The interest in the savings bank account is calculated based on the daily balance. However, it is usually paid out after every three months.

Now, coming to your first question. Focussed fund is a diversified equity fund that invests in a limited number of companies, say around 20. On the other, a value fund is a fund where the fund manager tries to invest in the stock of companies that are usually not impacted by the market momentum and are relatively cheap to buy.
