Franklin Templeton Appoints New Fund Manager

Franklin Templeton Mutual Fund appoints Vivek Ahuja as the new fund manager for its fixed income funds. He will be co-managing the following funds with Sachin Padwal –Desai – Templeton India Government Securities Fund, Franklin India International Fund, Templeton India Income Builder Account, Templeton India Income Fund Templeton India Short-Term Income Plan, FT India Balanced Fund, Templeton India Children’s Asset Plan.

As well with Pallab Roy, Vivek Ahuja would be managing Franklin Templeton Fixed Tenure Fund , Franklin Templeton Capital Safety Fund, Franklin Templeton Capital Protection Oriented Fund, Templeton India Treasury Management Account, Templeton India Liquid Plus, Templeton Quarterly Interval Plan, Templeton Fixed Horizon Fund – Series I, Templeton MIP ,FT India MIP.

Pallab Roy and Sachin Padwal-Desai will be co- managing these five funds: FT India Life Stage Fund of Funds, FT India Dynamic PE Ratio Fund of Funds, Templeton India Treasury Management Account, Templeton India Treasury Management Account, Templeton Floating Rate Income Fund, Templeton India Ultra-short ond Fund. These funds were earlier being managed by Sachin Padwal-Desai alone.
