Earlier known as Mirae Asset India Equity Fund, this fund was reclassified and renamed in May 2019. Although its earlier mandate was that of a flexi-cap fund, it was still managed with a large-cap-heavy portfolio. Thus, there is not much change in the way it is run after the reclassification exercise. Who is it suitable for? Large-cap companies, in which the fund invests, generally have stable businesses and their stocks are highly liquid. Therefore, they tend to be relatively less volatile than the stocks of smaller companies. But unlike the latter, they are not expected to turn into multibaggers. These attributes make the fund suitable for conservative equity investors who want to invest for long-term growth without taking much risk. Investment strategy Growth at a reasonable price
