Are returns guaranteed if I continue an SIP for 25 years?

Mutual funds do not guarantee returns and not even capital protection. But looking at the last 25 years, and even before that, even the worst funds have been able to beat fixed income returns.

We have funds with 30 year track record of investment in equity. And with a track record of 30 years, what I find is that even if you have invested in the worst of worst funds, you would have been able to beat fixed income returns and no one has lost money. The trick is to invest regularly and consistently over a period of time.
