UTI Mutual Fund has announced the introduction of a separate plan for direct investments with effect from January 1, 2013.
The direct plan is introduced in all existing and new open ended schemes (except ETFs) launched, New Fund Offer of Close Ended /Capital Protection Oriented Schemes and Interval Schemes whose Special Transaction Period falls after the effective date.
The investor has to apply directly to the fund House and not through the stock exchange or any distributor.
