I want to invest for a period of 7 to 10 years. Please suggest some funds.

It is important for you to follow a couple of rules for a long-term investment horizon of 7 to 10 years. Firstly, invest regularly via the SIP route. Don’t make lumpsum investments. Evaluate your investments on an annual basis. You cannot afford to invest and forget, any kind of market-linked investment would require monitoring.
Some funds that you can choose from are UTI Equity, DSP BlackRock Equity and Birla Sun Life Frontline Equity.
