I had invested via Super SIPs of Rs 2,000 for 6 years in DSP BlackRock T.I.G.E.R. for my children’s education. I had started this investment in 2005. What should I do with my holdings now?

Under the Super SIP concept, investors receive free term cover on their SIP investments, which is a very good advantage for investors. We believe you should continue with this investment, but you should change the fund you invest in. DSP BlackRock T.I.G.E.R. isn't an ideal long-term investment. Instead of a sectoral fund like it, you should opt for a generic, diversified fund like DSP BlackRock Equity or DSP BlackRock Top 100 Equity. If it is possible, you should also move your units from DSP BlackRock T.I.G.E.R. to one of these funds.
