Invest via SIPs in plain, diversified equity funds for 6 to 7 years. Here are some options…

I wish to invest in mutual funds for a period of 6 to 7 years. Please suggest 2-3 good funds.

For a period of 6 to 7 years, you should invest in vanilla, diversified equity funds that do well in all market situations. Don’t invest in lumpsum amounts; invest regularly via the SIP route.
Some funds to choose from are UTI Equity, DSP BlackRock Equity, Birla Sun Life Frontline Equity and ICICI Prudential Dynamic.
