Expected to open on May 4, here we share some key details of India's biggest-ever IPO

After the press meet held today afternoon, LIC's IPO has been confirmed and the price band has been announced too. The company has also filed its RHP which you can get here.

The stage is set

Set to be the biggest IPO in the history of India, this issue will dethrone One97 Communications (Paytm) which currently stands first with an issue size of Rs 18,300 crore. Experts also predict that there might be a record number of Demat account openings due to this IPO.
