Here is how the new risk-o-meter reflects Value Research's debt funds recommendation framework

Our criterion has helped us leave certain funds outside our framework even though they were generating high returns. While we have been consciously steering away from funds with high long-term credit risk for quite some time, even the risk-o-meter has now started reflecting these underlying risks as the SEBI asked AMCs to use long-term credit ratings to measure liquidity and credit score.
