Launched in February 2006, the fund has witnessed multiple market cycles in its long history. It found the going tough in its initial years as it was placed in the bottom quartile in 2007, 2008 and 2010. But after Sohini Andani took over the fund management in late 2010, the fund's fortunes turned for the better and it was ranked in the top half of the category in each year between 2012 and 2017.
