Templeton Monthly Income Plan (MIP) has declared a monthly dividend of 0.80% (Rs 0.08 per unit). The record date for the same was July 25, 2002. This is the seventh consecutive dividend of 0.80% from the fund this year. In all, the fund has paid a total dividend of 21.3% spread over 28 monthly payouts. It has only failed once in paying its monthly dividend and that too, long back in July 2000.
