UTI Introduces Automatic Trigger Facility for Equity Schemes

UTI has announced an Automatic Trigger Facility for 14 equity schemes viz. Masterplus, Mastergain, Mastergrowth, Grand Master, PEF Unit Scheme, Master Index Fund, Nifty Index Fund, Index Select Equity Fund, UGS 10000 and 5 UTI Growth Sector Funds, w.e.f. July 1, 2002.

This facilitates the unitholders to repurchase their investment or appreciation on their investment. The facility has 3 options:as and when the investment under the scheme reaches a specified value, on reaching a predetermined level of appreciation and on a specified future date.

This facility also enables rollover of the entire repurchase proceeds in the scheme. All interested unit holders may contact their nearest UTI branch office.
