UTI MIP 2000 To Pay 3% Dividend

Unit Trust of India has decided to pay a dividend of 3 percent to investors in its MIP 2000 scheme.

The scheme was launched in February 2000 and had earlier paid dividend of 10.25% p.a. for the year 2000-2001 and 9% p.a. for the year 2001-2002.

Based on the performance of the Plan, UTI had earlier declared 'Nil' income distribution for the year 2002-2003 in April 2002. The performance of the Plan has since been reviewed and taking into account the income generated during the last 2 months, it has now decided to declare and pay an income distribution of 3% p.a. for the period 01/04/2002 to 31/03/2003.
