Escorts Opportunities Fund has announced a third monthly dividend of 1.25 percent (Rs 0.125 per unit). The record date for the same is June 21, 2002. It has paid its first two dividends of 1.25 percent each in April and May 2002.
It is an equity-specialty fund and was initially launched as a closed-end fund in February 2001 but was converted into an open-end fund in February 4, 2002. Escorts Opportunities Fund aims to outperform plain vanilla diversified equity funds by dynamically moving investments across sectors.
