Should one exit from long term gilt funds due to the low chances of rate cuts?

Answer transcript: Yes. You may have you reconcile yourself with some losses due to the correction in the market from its peak. But yes, by doing so you will also be able to reduce your volatility. I don't know when the rate cut phase will come back again but most individual investors should not try to maximize their returns from fixed income funds. For returns maximization, they should have an equity allocation.
