Escorts Opportunities Fund has declared a monthly dividend of 1.25 percent (Rs 0.125 per unit). The record date for the same is May 21, 2002. This is the second dividend from the fund. It paid its first dividend of 1.25 percent last month.
It is an equity-specialty fund and was initially launched as a closed-end fund in February 2001 but was converted into an open-end fund in February 4, 2002. Escorts Opportunities Fund aims to outperform plain vanilla diversified equity funds by dynamically moving investments across sectors.
