Escorts Opportunities, an equity-specialty fund has announced its first dividend of 1.25 per cent (Rs 0.125 per unit). The record date for the same is April 21, 2002. The fund was initially launched as a closed-end fund in February 2001 but was converted into an open-end fund in February 4, 2002.
Escorts Opportunities Fund aims to outperform plain vanilla diversified equity funds by dynamically moving investments across sectors. From now onwards, the fund will declare monthly dividend on 21st of every month under the dividend option.
