SEBI's New Mutual Fund Regulation

Mutual Funds are no longer required to publish their scheme-wise annual reports in the newspapers. However, Mutual Funds should continue with the practice of sending the annual report or abridged versions to the unitholders. Funds should also continue to disclose the scheme-wise annual reports on their websites.

This was stated by SEBI yesterday. Subsequently, it has amended the SEBI (Mutual Funds) Regulation 1956.
