Escorts Balanced Fund has declared its first dividend of 10 per cent (Re 1 per unit). The record date for the same is March 21, 2002.
The fund's one-month return is the highest in the category. It was launched in March 2001 and has remained an above average performer in the category throughout. The fund has achieved this via higher equity holding of 70.85 per cent and the balance in debt instruments, as on February 28, 2002.
