Birla Mutual Fund has declared dividend in its Income Plus and Gilt Plus (Liquid, Investment and Long Term Plans). The record date for the payment of dividend in all the above funds is March 15, 2002.
Birla Income Plus has declared a quarterly dividend of 3 per cent (Rs 0.30 per unit). This is the sixteenth dividend from the fund and is lower than the last dividend of 3.25 per cent declared in December 2001.
In Birla Gilt Plus Liquid Plan, a dividend of 4.54 per cent (Rs 0.454 per unit) has been declared. This is the highest dividend paid by the fund since its launch in October 1999.
The Investment Plan of the Gilt Plus has also declared its highest dividend of 7.26 per cent (Rs 0.726 per unit). Before this one, the fund's highest dividend was 5.75 per cent paid in December last year.
In Birla Gilt Plus Long-term Plan, a dividend of 10.89 per cent (Rs 1.089 per unit) has been declared. The current dividend declaration is higher than the previous dividend payout of 8 per cent paid in December 2001.
