LIC Mutual Fund has declared dividends in two of its debt funds - Bond Fund and Government Securities Fund (GSF). The record date for the same is March 01, 2002.
In the Bond Fund, a dividend of 3.5 per cent (Rs 0.35 per unit) has been declared. The fund paid its last dividend of 3.5 per cent in November 2001. LIC Bond is the largest fund of the AMC and currently commands 67 per cent of the assets under management.
LIC GSF has declared a dividend of 7 per cent (Rs 0.70 per unit). It is up from the last dividend of 3.5 per cent declared in November 2001. Launched in November 1999, the fund has paid an aggregate dividend of 17.5 per cent spread over six payments (excluding the current payout).
