Grindlays Cash Fund has reduced the minimum investment amount to Rs 25,000 against the earlier requirement of Rs 1 lakh. The fund has also reduced the minimum balance to be maintained in the account of the investor to Rs 5,000 as against Rs 25,000 earlier. And the redemption request for any amount in multiples of Re 1 will be now accepted. Earlier redemption request for less than Rs 25,000 was not accepted. These changes are effective from February 25, 2002.
