Best STP strategy

Systematic Transfer Plan (STP) helps an investor to invest a lump sum amount in one scheme and transfer a fixed sum regularly into another scheme

What is the best Systematic Transfer Plan (STP) strategy: daily, weekly, fortnightly, monthly or quarterly?
- Siddhaye

Systematic Transfer Plan (STP) helps an investor to invest a lump sum amount in one scheme (mostly a liquid scheme) and transfer a fixed sum regularly into another scheme (mostly an equity scheme). Your corpus and how quickly you want to deploy the money would dictate your STP strategy. For example, if you have a huge corpus and you want to invest the entire money in six months or in a year, you may be forced to opt for a daily or weekly STP. If you have a modest corpus, you may opt for a less frequent STP, say, a monthly STP.
