Senior citizens mostly can't escape the co-payment clause -- the policyholder will have to bear a certain percentage of the total cost of treatment with the insurer -- at this age. However, you should check with your insurer whether you can avoid this clause by paying an extra premium. Some insurers remove this clause from the policy for an extra premium.
