Name of Scheme: The revised name of the scheme is HSBC Infrastructure Equity Fund.
Type of Scheme: The type of scheme has been changed from open-ended flexi-theme equity scheme to open-ended equity scheme.
Investment Objective: The investment objective of the scheme is to generate long term capital appreciation from an actively managed portfolio of equity and equity related securities by investing predominantly in equity and equity related securities of companies engaged in or expected to benefit from growth and development of infrastructure in India.
Asset Allocation: The asset allocation pattern has been changed to 65-100 per cent allocation in equity and equity related securities of companies operating in Infrastructure Sector , 0-35 per cent allocation in equity and equity related instruments of other than infrastructure sector and 0-35 per cent in debt and money market instruments.
Existing investors, who do not wish to continue with the scheme, in view of the proposed change can exit from the scheme between August 14, 2015 and September 13, 2015.
