The Netherlands-based ING group sponsored fund house has gone back to its also-ran status. Although the AMC has the whole range of fund offerings, it has been struggling to bring in performance in the schemes to exude investor confidence. The AMC has a few interesting international funds in its stable, with focus on Latin America, global commodities and real estate. However, with limited reach it has not managed to kindle investor interest as much. The AMC has some very good performing funds; however, the changing business environment is not being capitalised by the fund house to spread its wings and reach out to more investors.
