New entrant

Less than six months old, PPFAS Mutual Fund comes with great conviction to announce that it will have only one equity fund: PPFAS Long Term Value Fund. The AMC is focusing on the internet for lead-generation and uses the social media for engagement, while its off-line activities centre around investor-education seminars spread across the country.

The fund house's efforts are finding takers from outside the top-15 cities, especially from centres in the South and West. This, Parag Parikh, the Chairman and CEO, feels, is because of greater pervasiveness of the English language and familiarity with the internet in those areas.
