BOI AXA Mutual Fund is working towards attracting quality assets from retail, HNIs and even corporate investors. Sandeep Dasgupta, the CEO, is hoping that investors will believe in the fund house's investment philosophy, risk management processes and also respect its high level of transparency.
He is clear that a sustained business model can be built only if one is able to retain assets and draw more investors by providing customer satisfaction. Plans are on the anvil to expand its reach in smaller towns through physical presence and offering simple products to the investors. The fund house has embarked on educating bank customers and smaller IFAs, which he feels will go a long way in strengthening the AMC.
