
Franklin India Mutual Fund has announced change in the fundamental attributes of Franklin India Multi Asset Solution Fund of Funds.
- The scheme name of 'Franklin India Multi Asset Solution Fund of Funds' change to 'Franklin India Income Plus Arbitrage Active Fund of Funds'.
- The investment objective is to generate income for investors through investment in a portfolio of debtoriented and arbitrage schemes.
- As per the updated asset allocation, the fund will now invest 0-65 per cent of its assets in the units of debt-oriented mutual funds and 35-100 in units of arbitrage schemes.
- The scheme will now managed by Rohan Maru, Pallab Roy and Rahul Goswami.
- The benchmark of the scheme has changed from '40% Nifty 500 TRI + 40% Nifty Short Duration Debt Index + 20% domestic gold price' to '65% NIFTY Short Duration Debt Index + 35% NIFTY 50 Arbitrage Index'.
- The risk-o-meter change from 'High' to 'Moderate'.
These changes are effective from July 4, 2025.
As per the regulatory requirements, unitholders have been given a 30-day exit window from June 04, 2025 to July 03, 2025. Investors who do not consent to these changes have an option to either switch or redeem their investments without paying any exit load during the period. No action is required to be taken by investors who don't have any objection to the proposed change.
