I am holding HDFC Equity, UTI Equity and IDFC Premier Equity. Should I add ICICI Prudential Discovery to my portfolio, because it is a value-based fund?

Though ICICI Prudential Discovery is a good fund, the three funds you hold are good enough for a portfolio. While HDFC Equity and UTI Equity invest in large- and mid-cap stocks, IDFC Premier Equity focuses on small- and mid-cap stocks.
A value-based fund like ICICI Prudential Discovery could be a meaningful addition, but even without it, you won't be missing out on anything substantial.
