HDFC Mutual Fund has suspended fresh SIP (Systematic Investment Plan) registration in HDFC Defence Fund, with effect from July 22, 2024. Earlier in June 2023, the fund had restricted lumpsum investments while monthly SIPs were allowed for upto Rs. 10,000 per investor.
Existing SIPs and STPs registered before the effective date will continue as usual. There are no restrictions on redemptions, switch-out and systematic withdrawals from the scheme.
