Dalal Street witnessed a bloodbath last week at the advent of election results. However, it also recovered swiftly in the days after. The BSE Sensex, Midcap, and Smallcap indices posted returns of 0.03, -0.03, and 2.1 per cent, respectively. BSE Oil & Gas was the worst performer, with a return of -7.2 per cent.
