Escorts Mutual Fund plans to convert its closed-ended, Escorts Income Bond into an open-end fund with effect from November 10, 2001. Launched in October 1996, the fund is due for redemption on November 20, 2001. The AMC has given an exit option to the investors not in the favor of conversion, to redeem their units within October 29, 2001 to November 9, 2001.
