Fortis MF has announced changes in its fund management team w.e.f October 1, 2009.
1. Amit Nigam will be the fund manager for Fortis Opportunities Fund and Fortis Future Leaders Fund in addition to his responsibilities as fund manager of existing designated Equity Schemes of the fund.
2. Chirag Doshi will be the fund manager for Fortis Short Term Income Fund in addition to his responsibility as dealer - Fixed Income.
3. Sameer Narayan, the fund manager will cease to be the key personnel for the fund.
4. Karthikraj Lakshmanan has been appointed as the key personnel of the fund and designated as the fund manager - Equity for Fortis Sustainable Development Fund and Fortis Monthly Income Plan (Equity Portfolio). Lakshmanan holds a B.com as well as PGDBM degree and has cleared CFA from CFAI, US
