Prudential ICICI Mutual Fund has extended the record date for existing investors to communicate their decision to convert or redeem their holdings in Prudential ICICI Power (earlier ICICI Power) till October 5, 2001. The fund went open-end from October 1, 2001. Earlier, the record date was September 27, 2001. The form, informing unitholders' decision, can be submitted at any of Prudential-ICICI's Customer Service Centres before October 5, 2001. However, the applicable NAV for conversion will be that of September 27, 2001. The fund has guaranteed that it will dispatch the redemption cheques within ten business days from the date of acceptance of the redemption request.
