Principal Income Fund - Short Term Plan: Change in average maturity profile

The average residual maturity period of the debt securities held by Principal Income Fund - Short Term Plan will now range upto 36 months, instead of 6 months to 18 months earlier. The change is effective with effect from February 02, 2009. All other features of the scheme will remain unchanged.
