I want to know about the difference between various Gold ETFs available for trading. As I understand, they reflect price of 1gram of gold and exhibit similar returns, still their quotes are different. Why?
There is hardly any difference in the various Gold ETFs available, being structured alike. All funds hold physical gold and the NAV closely tracks the gold price. The denomination of Quantum Gold ETF is different wherein its each unit reflects the value of 1/2 gram of physical gold while all others reflect the value of 1 gram of physical gold for every unit.
The NAV of Gold ETFs are marginally different for in their varying operating expenses and cash component. This leads to difference in their NAV and return from them.
