If you intend to invest in equity and income is not your concern, then you should invest in a growth plan. You should not expect much in the form of dividends because generally equity is more of a growth vehicle. And it also doesn’t give dividend in a defined period and hence it is not very fixed in nature.

Effectively, it is a ULIP run by Life Insurance Corporation. There are different series of Market Plus policies. LIC market Plus is a ULIP and it is doing just in line with the market -- taking into account the expenses. It is not a mutual fund. You can look at the NAV to evaluate its performance.
