VANS Electroengineerings, incorporated in February 2022 in Salem, Tamil Nadu, has developed from an electrical-engineering manufacturing venture into a specialised supplier of critical power-switching and traction-electrification equipment for railways, metro systems and renewable-energy installations. Its core portfolio comprises single-pole and double-pole vacuum circuit breakers and vacuum interrupters, along with related accessories and components used at traction substations, sectioning and paralleling posts, feeding posts, bus couplers and other overhead-equipment systems. The company’s expertise lies in vacuum-switchgear design, fabrication, assembly, high-voltage testing and application-specific engineering for 2×25 kV railway electrification, supported by an ISO 9001:2015-certified facility with circuit-breaker analysers, high-voltage test sets and testing transformers. Its distinctive strength is the in-house development and testing of products aligned with IEC, IS, IEEE and ANSI standards, with type testing at accredited laboratories such as CPRI and KERI, enabling supply of specialised equipment for safety-critical infrastructure.
