Purple Style Labs, incorporated in Mumbai in August 2015, is an omni-channel luxury-fashion platform focused on expanding the commercial and international reach of Indian designer brands. The company initially built a fashion-technology business, then transformed its operating model by acquiring Pernia’s Pop-Up Shop in 2018—adding an established multi-designer e-commerce platform and its first Mumbai Experience Centre—followed by the acquisition of the intellectual property and archives of designer labels Wendell Rodricks in 2020 and Hemant Trevedi in 2021, and the subsequent expansion of physical Experience Centres in India, London and New York. Through Pernia’s Pop-Up Shop and The Stylist, it curates womenswear, menswear, bridal and occasionwear, jewellery, accessories, childrenswear and home décor from more than 1,300 active designer brands and over 200,000 SKUs. Its core expertise is connecting Indian luxury designers with premium domestic and overseas consumers through a hybrid of online discovery, personal styling, made-to-order support and high-touch retail locations; designer partners include established and emerging Indian labels, rather than a conventional single-brand customer base. This integrated digital-and-experience-centre model is its distinguishing strength, addressing the challenge of buying high-value, highly personalized wedding and occasionwear remotely by pairing broad designer selection with styling advice, trials and physical service, while giving designers shared retail, marketing and cross-border distribution infrastructure.
