About Shri Hare-Krishna Sponge Iron Company

Established in 2003, the company is engaged in the manufacturing and sale of sponge iron, a critical raw material for steel production in electric arc and induction furnaces. Its manufacturing facility is located in Siltara, Raipur (Chhattisgarh) with an installed capacity of 30,000 metric tonnes per annum. The company primarily caters to steel producers across Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh, and Chhattisgarh. Sponge iron forms over 95 per cent of its revenue, with minor contributions from by-products like dolochar and iron ore fines. Equipped with in-house testing capabilities and ISO certifications, the company is planning to install a captive power plant to enhance operational sustainability.
