About Ather Energy Company

Ather Energy Ltd, founded in 2013, is a pure play electric vehicle (EV) manufacturer specializing in electric two-wheelers (E2Ws) and the accompanying ecosystem including Atherstack, Ather Grid, Accessories and Smart Features. The company employs a vertically integrated approach, designing most components internally and outsourcing manufacturing to suppliers. The company's production is centralized at its Hosur Factory in Tamil Nadu, with an annual installed capacity of 420,000 E2Ws and 379,800 battery packs. It is currently expanding capacity through a new facility in Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar (formerly Aurangabad), Maharashtra, aiming to reach 1.42 million units annually. Their business model is asset-light with third-party operated experience centres and service centres across India, Nepal, and Sri Lanka.
