About LIC MF Multi Asset Allocation Fund - Regular Plan
LIC MF Multi Asset Allocation Fund - Regular Plan is a hybrid mutual fund scheme of LIC Mutual Fund. Launched on February 14, 2025, it is currently managed by Sumit Bhatnagar and Pratik Harish Shroff. The fund has an expense ratio of 3.82% with an overall AUM (Assets Under Management) of ₹940 Cr.
LIC MF Multi Asset Allocation Fund - Regular Plan is a multi asset allocation fund. Such funds invest your money in a mix of equity shares, bonds and commodities (usually gold) such that each has at least 10 per cent allocation at all times. XX The fund allows minimum lumpsum investment of ₹500 and minimum SIP of ₹200.
Investment Strategy
The scheme is to generate long term capital appreciation by investing in diversified portfolio of equity & equity related instruments, debt & money market instruments and units of Gold Exchange Traded Funds (ETFs).

Capital Gains Taxation
The following tax treatment is based upon last 12-months asset allocation and may vary from other funds in the category.
- If the mutual fund units are sold after 1 year from the date of investment, gains upto Rs 1.25 lakh in a financial year are exempt from tax. Gains over Rs 1.25 lakh are taxed at the rate of 12.5%.
- If the mutual fund units are sold within 1 year from the date of investment, entire amount of gain is taxed at the rate of 20%.
- No tax is to be paid as long as you continue to hold the units.
