In compliance of the provisions of Regulation 30 of SEBI (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015, this is to inform that Rural Electrification Corporation Limited has entered into Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Maharashtra State Power Generation Company Limited (MAHAGENCO) for extending financial assistance to the tune of Rs. 13,000 crore and for providing required services.
The above MoU is non-binding in nature and the financial assistance is subject to appraisal of the proposal(s) to be submitted by MAHAGENCO to REC and approval of Competent Authority.
