UTI Mutual Fund has announced a dividend of 50 per cent (Rs.5.00 per unit on face value of Rs.10) under UTI Index Select Equity Fund. The record date for the dividend would be March 12, 2004.
The fund was launched in June 1997 as a close ended equity scheme. The scheme was subsequently made open-ended from October 16, 2000. It has delivered a return of 81.89 per cent in one year as on February 24, 2004.
