UTI Mutual Fund has announced a dividend of 40 per cent (Rs. 4 per unit on face value of Rs. 10/-) under UTI Equity Tax Savings Plan-2000. The record date for the dividend would be January 20, 2004. This is the second dividend declared by the scheme, earlier it had declared 12 per cent dividend in March 2001.
