UTI Mutual Fund introduces a Short Term Plan under UTI G-sec Fund with effect from 24th November 2003. The plan would be called UTI- G-Sec Short Term Plan. It will be open for subscription from November 24 to 9 December, 2003. The plan will re-open for sale and repurchase from 15 December, 2003. All the features of this plan would be same as UTI G-Sec Fund.
UTI G-Sec Short Term Plan will invest only in Central Government securities including call money, treasury bills and repos with an average maturity of less than three years. UTI G-Sec-STP is ideal for Provident Funds, Trusts, Corporates and Individuals looking for a credit risk-free avenue of investment for the short-term.
