What should I do with my investments under RGESS?

"Money invested in RGESS in the past 2-3 years might be doing very well," says Dhirendra Kumar

Answer transcript: Look at it as a free investment. If they are good funds, remain invested. Money invested in RGESS in the past 2-3 years might be doing very well because by its very design it was supposed to be invested in large companies only - the top 100 by market cap. Large caps are getting back in favour. Some of those eligible investments are doing reasonably well. If you are falling short of money to be invested under 80C redeem some of your RGESS investments and make the investments in ELSS and get the tax benefit of it.
