How many times an asset allocation change is allowed in NPS?

The asset allocation switch is allowed once in a year in NPS for both Tier 1 and Tier 2 accounts. This option is available if you have opted for 'Active' choice for your NPS account. You also have the flexibility of switching between active and auto choice once in a financial year. However, please note that you can either switch between active choice and auto choice or change the asset allocation of your fund under the active choice once in a financial year. Both these switches cannot be done in one year.
